The security of your payment card
What steps do I need to take to make my Veracash card payments secure?
How does Veracash secure the precious metals you invest in?
When you buy physical gold and silver, Veracash immediately obtains the equivalent in weight, in tokens and legal tender*. Your grams of precious metals are then stored in our own vaults in Switzerland.
Switzerland offers political and economic stability, making it an ideal place to store precious metals outside the banking system. Veracash is incorporated under French law and guarantees the presence of every gram of gold or silver metal in its vaults with :
- auditing of the company’s accounting results by an auditor,
- Audit of French and Swiss customs without prior notice,
- an external auditor specialising in precious metals, ALS Global, commissioned by AuCOFFRE.com to audit the exact stock, down to the last coin, and to provide our members with an audit report.

The Veracash information system offers a three-level identification system consisting of your public pseudonym, your identifier and your 4-digit password (not to be confused with the PIN code on the Veracash card). This system offers an excellent level of protection against brute force attacks.
The veracash.com website uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption, which creates a secure channel between the customer and the servers. This encryption is indicated by “https” in the web browser address and by a “locked padlock” which means that the site certificate is valid. As far as data exchanges are concerned, the system also combines two levels of security:
- The network communication used with our server uses the TLS 1.2 (Transport Layer Security) protocol to secure exchanges by encrypting data.
- An encrypted token system ensures strong authentication with the application server.
